OBD-II & ELM327 setup

Practical steps to connect your car via Bluetooth or WiFi.

1. Choose an adapter

ELM327-compatible OBD-II adapter over Bluetooth and/or WiFi (prefer v1.5+). Standard 16-pin port for most cars 2001+.

2. Physical connection

Plug into OBD port under dashboard → ignition ON → wait for LED.

3. Bluetooth pairing

Android Settings → Bluetooth → pair (PIN often 1234 or 0000). Close other OBD apps.

4. Connect in app

Open app → Connect to car → green/blue ring → open dashboard.

5. If Bluetooth fails on the car screen — use WiFi

Important: Some head units cannot see Bluetooth OBD adapters at all. The app cannot fix that alone. Easiest fix: a WiFi OBD adapter, or run the app on your phone.

Join the adapter's WiFi network from screen/phone settings.
In the app choose WiFi connection.
Common default: 192.168.0.10 port 35000 (may vary by brand).
Connect — then open the live dashboard.
