OBD-II & ELM327 setup
Practical steps to connect your car via Bluetooth or WiFi.
1. Choose an adapter
ELM327-compatible OBD-II adapter over Bluetooth and/or WiFi (prefer v1.5+). Standard 16-pin port for most cars 2001+.
2. Physical connection
Plug into OBD port under dashboard โ ignition ON โ wait for LED.
3. Bluetooth pairing
Android Settings โ Bluetooth โ pair (PIN often 1234 or 0000). Close other OBD apps.
4. Connect in app
Open app โ Connect to car โ green/blue ring โ open dashboard.
5. If Bluetooth fails on the car screen โ use WiFi
Important: Some head units cannot see Bluetooth OBD adapters at all. The app cannot fix that alone.
Easiest fix: a WiFi OBD adapter, or run the app on your phone.
- Join the adapter's WiFi network from screen/phone settings.
- In the app choose WiFi connection.
- Common default:
192.168.0.10port35000(may vary by brand). - Connect โ then open the live dashboard.
